Welcome!

Welcome!

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I’m really excited to finally be getting my new website up and running.  Originally I planned to include a blog section, but I realized blogging really isn’t my thing.  So instead I’ll keep you up to date on new projects coming up, and anything worth mentioning.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering-the pic at the top of this post is of the cassette tape I made in the 80’s by putting my tape recorder up to my television and taping the audio track of Back to the Future.  Why you ask?  So I could listen to it when I went to bed.  Yeah, that’s the kind of film geek you’re dealing with here.  And obviously “Brooke” was the girl I had a crush on at the time.  As is evident by the tape…I never had a shot.

Thanks again for stopping by, and please feel free to browse through my work and send me a message if you feel inspired to.

Cheers,

CGW

    Hi Chris,
I liked your posting on the NYU LinkedIn alumni site some weeks ago and saw the other day that you checked my LinkedIn page. I looked at yours too and saw some of your work on the Edit Garage and CGWong sites. My Name is David looks like a splendid story, and I’m really looking forward to watching the film. I love the idea for Literally Dysfunctional, and the actors in your pilot do a wonderful job. As an English professor, I’m very drawn to your characters and am fascinated with the plot of the Guardians watching that they uphold the narratives where they live. Brilliant concept.
I’m writing because I published a memoir last year, Fighter Pilot’s Daughter: Growing Up in the Sixties and the Cold War with Rowman & Littlefield. As the title suggests, it’s the story of my life in a military family in the late decades of the cold war. R & L owns the rights to the book but I’m plotting a screenplay. Would you be interested in taking a look at the book and/or the script when I manage to put it together?
All the best with your fine work,
    Mary
